You can edit some details for an existing bank account or add a different bank account. You can also disable or remove bank accounts from your profile.

To edit bank account details:

  1. Go to the Bank accounts section. Click ‘Unlock’ and confirm your password.

  2. Click on the bank account you’d like to edit.

  3. Click the three dots on the right side and click ‘Edit’.


  4. The details that you will be able to edit are 'Account type', 'Account holder name', and 'Account holder address'.

If you wish to change major details such as the bank account number, you will need to add a new payment method with the new details.

Adding a new payment method

You can add as many bank accounts as you like in Pilot and can specify the currency they are in.

  1. Go to the Bank accounts section. Click Unlock’ and confirm your password.

  2. Click on ‘Add another payment method’ and enter the bank details.

  3. Once you’ve entered the required information, the new bank account will be added to your payment methods list.

If you would like Pilot to send payments to your new bank account, you’ll need to make it the default account.

To set up a default account:

  1. Go to the Bank accounts section.

  2. Click on the bank account that you’d like to make your default account
.

  3. Click on the three dots on the right side and select Make default.’

Please note that there’s an exception when your payment may not be sent to your default bank account. Here, you can find more information on how the default account works.

To disable a payment method:

  1. Go to the Bank accounts section. Click Unlock’ and confirm your password.

  2. Click on the bank account you’d like to disable.


  3. Click the three dots on the right side and select Disable.’

If you need to remove a bank account from your profile, you’ll need to delete it.

To delete a bank account:

  1. Go to the Bank accounts section. Click Unlock’ and confirm your password.

  2. Select the bank account you’d like to delete.

  3. Click on the three dots on the right side and click Delete.’

In order to delete a bank account, you will need to add at least 1 other payment method on your profile.
